Bob,
There would be no real advantage to using a 3.21 final drive by itself
unless you have a 500 Cad motor with a lot of torque or are using a
3.50 chain drive in the transmission and the 3.21 final would give you
a 3.66 final drive ratio. (That is what I have).

Gene,
Real life sometime trumps facts. I have a friend that has run both
the 455 and CAD 500 in the same coach. He reports that the CAD pulls
much harder than the previous 455 that was in the coach.

I have the 3:21 and the 3:50 Chain. Pulls like hell. Can lay rubber across an intersection too, both tires. It really hooks up when the wheels are turned.
I shoulda kept the Switch Pitch I got it off of. Everyone here talked me out of it.
