I may have to move the Barn Queen from her current kingdom of the low
lying Swinging Bridge RV Resort and to the heights of Magnolia Mini
Storage where she can join the Pinto Bean and the Oak Ridge Boys old
coach "Chocolate."

Some of the junkyard wheels I put on the rear have a center hole
that's bigger than the hubs. The storage place is only a mile away, if
that. Currently, I only have 4 lug nuts apiece holding the wheels on.

Quesiton presented: IF i increase the lug nuts to the proper quantity
of 8 for each wheel, can I get away with limping to the storage place,
even if the wheels aren't centered on the hubs? It would be a low
speed trip, since the wheel would have to be centered by eye (I doubt
I have the right lugs to center the wheel).

There are a lot of GMCs running around with lug centered wheels. Don't worry about it just get some nuts on them.
I snapped a picture of a late 80's, 16 inch, GM wheel that is hub centered and fits our coach. It is rounded and not flat so it will clear the brakes. I guess all the steel wheel guys know about the wheel already. I have not followed that topic.

Robin,

Put eight nuts on all the wheels and proceed slowly (20-25 mph max) from the RV park to the storage facility with the emergency
flashers on.

Move it when there is the least amount of traffic.

Regards,
Rob M.

Robin,
Looks like you have almost a straight shot from one place to the other
via the frontage road to Old Byram Rd. I wouldn't suggest a stop at
Hot Shots on the way, though. <G>

Use 2 lug centered cone nuts to get the wheel centered. Install 6 proper nuts torqued down to about 50 lbs. Remove the cone nuts and install 2 proper nuts. Torque all nuts to proper torque.

Slow and close - sure.  Probanly work fine with 4 bolts.  You may look like the clown car at the Shriner's parade, but it will get you there.
