Sir: it is a engine/transmission alignment dowel. There should be 2, one on each side of the bellhousing.

It looks like a dowel pin used to line up the bellhousing to the motor. Is it about 5/8 " dia?

Yes, it is about 5/8" in diameter and about 1 1/8 to 1 1/4 inches long. It can just fall out??

Hi Dwayne,
We are in Vernon at Lake Okanagan. Leaving tomorrow for Chilliwack area. Still having fuel problems but 'chugging' along.

Sometimes, usually they are a tap in fit to bellhousing, sometimes they get loose. No harm as long as they are in when you go to align the bellhousing.

If u take highway 3 very nice but much slower . Lots of turns still ends up
next to hope. Coquihalla has looooong hills both up and down. Really long
climbs. better done early morning. Also make sure you are gassed up. Not
much for services on either route. Merriot, princeton, manning park , hope
then chilliwack.

Next to the fuse block. Guessing it's a linear for a CB? just want to make sure it's not GMC related before I remove it. didn't see any like it on a
quick photo site search.

Thanks
