After tracking down a neighbor who was stealing my late father-in-laws
heating oil ("He don't need it anymore." I have a new mystery.
We parked our GMC last year with 1/2 a tank of gas (Please no lectures, I
know they should be full!) and went to run the Honda 6010 generator because
we had no power for three days. Hey, the tanks were almost empty. I only
started it maybe 10 times during the year. Either the mice are drinking it
or I have a leak.
Any suggestions on repair or are new tanks in order. If so, where do I get
new tanks.

Sir: most of the time when I park my coach with 1/2 tank showing it is actually less after the gas settles to level. If you do suspect a leak, park it on a dry surface with cardboard or paper under it. Smell the oil for gas just cause.

Ron, if your coach is sitting nose low, the fuel in the rear tank has
migrated to the front (aux) tank. The generator fuel supply is from the rear
(main) tank, and the pickup does not go to the bottom of the tank so you
will not run the coach out of gas with the generator and be stranded
somewhere. Easy enough to check. Just lower the back of the coach, wait a
few minutes, and then try to start the generator. If it runs, you have
solved your mystery and the neighbor gets to keep his kneecaps. <Grin>
