Quote:

MIL-TFP41

In manufacturing, there are many acronyms (FAI, PFMEA, PPAP, SPC, etc.). We utilize lots of different specifications, such as military (MIL) specs, which inform us of the parameters of how to perform each task.

Production personnel tend to run amok and make things how they see fit. Quality might refer them to MIL-TFP41, meaning:

“Make It Like The Fuckin’ Print for once.”

Oh - Man, - or sometimes never making a clear definition at all - that is right on there on my list with hidden inline fuses and wires that change color mid-run.

Matt,
I have noticed that red wire must be the cheapest since all the changes on our GMC were wired with red wire. EEEK

My daughter wonders how I understand 16 year old English. I refer to the urban dictionary for translation to the Queen's English.

I only wish we had one for Jim Kanomata ;-)

Not a TLA (Three Letter Acronym), but one we used to use in
the old IBM Office Products division was the ultimate
recursive acronym, MUNG (Mung Until No Good)!
