Going camping this weekend just north of Stillwater Mn. A big foot was filmed a couple weeks ago in that same area. Is there any special precautions to take to sasquatch proof the coach? I figure i'll hear him messing with the tenters first so that should give me enough time to get the 44 ready. I'll borrow the IR camera from work and hopefully get some night footage! You guys from the north west should be plenty experienced with this kind of thing.

Why would you want to shoot something like that?

Coming from BC, you probably have some experience. I'll make sure to put all garbage in the dumpsters. Should I sprinkle chili powder around the coach to keep him away?

I have a black bear that comes around at night. He takes the plums off the tree and doesn't bother anyone.
The deer are getting bolder. They come right up to the house and eat things. So far my little garden is OK.
I would like to see a BigFoot. I may not invite him in, but just to know that something like that is out there would be wonderful.
Yes, there is a problem with black bears coming too close to houses. But it is caused by people leaving garbage outside. These bears can smell that stuff miles away. Far too many bears have been shot this year because of us.
Grizzly bears are something else.
Polar bears will attack unprovoked.
I have been up north and had to take a course on these guys.

Guys,

Since I am an ex project Apollo guy I would get more excited about aliens
than Big Foot.

However, I would be concerned with them abducting Double Trouble for
mechanical evaluation.

Personally I would also be concerned with the aliens intervening medically
on me.

I learned all about what they do to cows on South Park. They inserted an
anal probe in Cartman that caused him to fart fire! It turned out to be a
huge antennae that would deploy and send data back to their home planet.

I heard their was an alien big foot spotted in the Pinelands in southern New
Jersey and the Jersey Devil, but you probably knew about that right Rob? I
think H.G. Wells originally spotted them. It was heard on the radio...

Jerrod,

All kidding aside, a distant acquaintance has a cabin in the International Falls area (it may actually be in Canada). This cabin had to be built by sawing local wood with a portable mill that they flew in. It isn't just of the grid.

Anyway, they though they had a problem with a rampaging bear. They cut more wood and put bars and bolts on the door. The next time it was attacked, another friend was with them. He has worked for the Forest Service investigating animal damage.

Well, this time the place was very thoroughly trashed (He smiled while relating this and said "worse than college kids on spring break"). Whatever had come in had lifted and tossed the bars off the door to do so. Ken - the FS naturalist (he may be a wild life biologist - but we haven't talked about that much) said that he was dump founded. If it was a bear it was 7 feet tall - real tall for a black bear in these parts - and didn't leave any claw marks. It had opened cabinets and closets that needed a knob turned. It had also ripped the recently rebuilt front door completely out of and off of the door frame - again, without using claws or teeth.

Things a person would have taken (lamps, fishing gear and such) were all still there.

The only thing he would say was that it was not a bear. He will not discuss the event in any more detail.

If this is all a true account (I have no reason to believe otherwise), I would suggest that if you should actually encounter a sasquash/bigfoot. Let him/her go where he wants and don't interfere or you may end up with a uniquely modified coach.

Matt

So, you are saying, the Aliens are related to the Indians and communicate via smoke signals... Laughing
