There are companies that can mix paint to match the original and package it in spray cans, though I've not used any myself.
The biggest problem would be in trying to match the original "Frosted Mint" color on the Palm Beach that has been cooking for the last 35 years. It's actually pretty amazing to see how well it does buff out after all these years if you work at it, but there is an awful lot of square footage to buff!

I took the original mirror bracket off the GMC and took it to my local
Porter Paint (PPG) store and asked them to mix up some. I was redoing the
roof on mt 73 (Glacier blue). The man behind the counter said it looked
like his 1970's Pinto! They mixed a small quantity from a sample they took
off the back of the mirror. Great match - except it matched the back of the
back of the mirror which had minimal exposure to UV.
I then really cleaned the roof - which was in rough shape as far as paint
went. I used DuPont Prep-Sol to clean. Then used a D/A and then washed with
DuPont Fast Dry Enamel reducer as the final clean before paint. I used a
very fine foam roller and a 1" touch up brush to trim around all the roof
mounted items.
After the foam brush application - 2 coats there is plenty of paint on the
roof to wet sand if you want to. I left it as you really can't see much of
the roof with the awning roll on the side. Other side looked good to. I
used about 3 quarts.
Took more time to clean and prep then to actually roll it out.
If I was really crazy, I could wash it down and add a third coat, I am real
happy with the end result. I don't think I would do the rest of the coach
that way, I just wanted to get the roof protected. You can find info on the
process through Google.
I believe it was a polyurethane exterior paint. Not cheap unless you
compare it to real auto paint.

Don't all GM colors have a paint code that any paint supplier can mix up?
Perhaps it would be better to paint some of the trim pieces with an accent color if the original faded paint can't be matched.
I've been considering painting my roof white to help keep it cooler in the sun. I don't know if I'd like the look though.

Do you have the GMC Maintenance manual X-7725?
On page 1A-1 it shows the color codes for your motorhome as follows:
Frosted Mint: RPO 553, Fisher No. WUEK-5254, Ditzler No. 45197, and DuPont refinish no. 44017U.
The Cameo white is RPO558, Fisher No. WUEK-3967, Ditzler No. 2058, and DuPont refinish no. 5338U.

I agree with you, it does buff out very good. We are in the process of taking the green transfer band off that runs around the body. After the buffing with turtle wax polishing compound, we found the original green under the transfer matched the body color very well.

On my 77 EII the Dupont Centari mixed from the paint code was a perfect match to the original. Even after all these years. If you want a good enamel that's what I used to airbrush in some damaged areas. I reproduced the stripe kit for my own use and it is still in the computer at the graphics shop. It would be easy to just pick new colors for the PB (green) and print more kits if anyone is interested. I have photos up on the photo site of the before, during, and after.

Any time trying to match older weathered paint colors, especially single stage paint that has deteriorated surface pigment it's important to first clean the paint with a compound taking off all that chalky stuff on the surface. next go to a quality automotive paint supplier with say the cleaned fuel door or a T skirt or something-- they will shoot the color with a computer eye match machine that will give them a mix for the color. This is the best way to match the paint, having the paint coades really is not a good way to go.
