Guys, An East coast GMC'er named Al is stuck in Flagstaff. He is at an RV shop that learned that they cannot fix his front end. I think he has bearing problems.
There were a few of you who used a shop in Mesa that could do the work. I left Randy (luvin 737's) a VM, but I think either Carl or Rob Muller used these guys in Mesa?
Pls give me a call at six oh two seven five one too oh seven oh asap if you can help. otherwise, we may need to get a gang together to fix this guy's coach.
Jim (Hasbeen) gave me Spec Track in Gilbert, this may be the place. I have a call into them too,

I have bearings and a TZE bearing puller if that would help. I am working
Thurs , Fri and Sat and leaving on vacation Sun evening but I could send the
stuff by FedEx.

Thanks to Randy, Jim, Carl, and Rob who all contacted me in one way or another. Al is getting buttoned up and heading to PHX tonight to take the coach into Spec Trac, which, incidentally, is right around the corner from my new office. I spoke to Jerry, the owner of Spec Trac, and he worked on the GMC's all the way back to the beginning, and has the knowledge to help Al. I'll be keeping tabs to see if things work out as we all hope.

Stay away is my advice. Not a source for bearings or alignments.

Then it is too late. The owner talks a great game. Poor alignment cost the
new owner of my GMC two brand new tires in just a few thousand miles. No
follow through, can't get them to return phone calls etc.
Since he's already there, he'll just have to hope for the best.
I do not believe they have the correct tools for bearing replacement nor
are they aware of which bearings are correct for the GMCs. If the bearings
have damaged the knuckles, his only hope is to convince the owner to call
Jim K and order a pre-assembled set of knuckles and hubs.
