My black tank was leaking at level sensor. It had a
tube of caulking around the hole. Cleaned everthing and
now I have 2 5/8 inch hole. I have a new sender.
How do I make a new adapter?

Mike,
We may need a picture to understand what you are doing.
Did you buy a direct replacement sender or are you going with the well nuts? Some who have gone with the well nuts found a tank wash out system at the local rv dealer which fit the old sender hole.

Mike,
Sorry the photos did not offer more help -- it seems I have never seen such an adapter.
First I would call JimK and ask what they use.
If he doesn't provide them -- it sounds like it is just a large washer with the mounting holes drilled.
To make one I would use 1/16 inch aluminum -- you can rough cut with a hack saw and then file to final shape. Drill a few holes and do the same for the inside -- or buy a hole saw for your drill that is close. Aluminum is pretty easy to work with -- and would not take long to fabricate even with only the file, hack and a drill.

I took mine apart and fixed it twice. It is easier for me if I just empty at three days or watch the water level in the P-trap in the shower. If it starts to rise you are completly full..
