Miami Okla is on I44 east of Shawnee -- perhaps we could arrange a factory tour for those of us traveling that way to the Spring 2012 GMCMI convention. Be kind of neat to have a fleet of GMC's in their parking lot.

Dennis

edit to correct I44

I hadn't thought about the squeaks and rattles. Even a million dollar coach rattles. Maybe they could use some frame pads!

Most don't rattle 'til the little lady of the house starts putting in plates, silverware, waste bins, bottles, cans, etc. etc. Our motorhomes were all pretty quiet driving them home from the dealers. Then the racket started. It's OK for me to say this, since she doesn't read the GMC forum! Rolling Eyes

It's almost insane isn't it. Shocked
Actually, I appreciate that Paul Allen walked from Microsoft to 'live life' rather than just sitting on a stack of cash (in a suit) that nobody could ever use in their life. I understand he's now big in to restoring war birds - because he likes to and because he can...probably with pocket change! Smile

Well, if the day ever comes...I'll have a yacht with 3 helicopters! Laughing

Well, proof that the wealthy do create jobs. Imagine that, 60 people

Rob,

As J.P. once said about his yacht; "If you have to ask how much it costs, you can't afford it."

And that one line was quoted and has served yachting very poorly even since.
Politicians see all boat owners as people with cash to spare (and they know it should all be theirs) and yard owners never look for a cost effective path, just a best bill will do for them.

Now the cash is gone and the taxes are still there.

Miami, OK is on I-44 between Tulsa, OK and Joplin, MO.
It's closer to Joplin than to Tulsa. I-44 runs from
St Louis, MO to Wichita Falls, TX basically following
the old U.S. Route 66 as far as Oklahoma City.

Shawnee is "on" I-40 which is an east-west Interstate
and is about 30 miles due east of Oklahoma City.
