We did a trial run camping trip this past weekend. Our daughter took our
Eleganza with 2 of her daughters and Sharon and I
took the Kingsley. A provincial camp near Hope BC - dry camping. Our
daughter handled the coach very well. She feels comfortable
enough to go solo. I just have to make sure everything is working well for
her. I had forget to fill our water tanks thinking there would
be water hookups - NOT. Had to get water from a well and made a funnel out
of tin foil to get some water into the tanks.
Overall a great experience for all and looking forward to when we both can
take in a Cascaders Rally. Introducing the next generation.

Dwayne, when Bob and I were in NB last summer, we just used a 1-gallon jug
and lugged water from the fawcet to our coach to fill the tanks. Necessity
is the mother of invention. Glad you had a good trip and IT IS important
to bring in the younger generations.

There are many things that drive couples apart, however we have experienced
the Drive (our GMC MH) that
has enhanced our lives together. We are blessed and purpose to be a
blessing to others. Our children
need to see healthy examples of couples enjoying life together.

We do have the 29.5 stretch, but that's for sale, and I'm not sure that I want anyone to use it....

I would recommend that YOU use the coach from time to time, even while it is up for sale. This way the coach remains a "rolling" coach, with far less problems for the new owner.
Granted, the use should be "gentle" as possible.
One good use is to take it to places that people would be, who might be interested in buying it. The best advertisement for GMC's is a good looking GMC!

Good examples of that: At the Dixielanders rally last week, one
member bought the freshly restored 26' of another. That now-available
23' attracted several possible buyers who came to visit us as a result
of our front page coverage in the local paper. While there, several
of those potential buyers also met with the owner, and viewed photos
of the Clasco I mentioned as available. If the Clasco had been there,
there's at least some chance one of those buyers would have been
unable to resist it. Something may still come from the contacts.
Get 'em out there so folks can see what they're missing.
