Has anyone had experience with this "product"? I recently had information handed to me about this. Generally, I regard all of these products as just another way to get our money.
Thanks

Les, by now you should already know my opinion about additives!

I usually put these products into the category of "Too good to be true".

Well,
I took more time than I should have wasted to digest the published data. Their data is not complete. It takes WAY MORE than they did to confirm and validate emissions data. But hey, I only spent about thirty years doing engine testing.
As for fuel rate testing - there were none of the required controls.

This is not surprising to me, the layman. The lady that is plugging the stuff, a member of another motorhome group that we belong to, was telling about rocket scientists (really) and all the work that went into developing the product for this application. From my perspective, if you are looking for gas mileage, drive a small vehicle with a small engine.

Les, if I were driving a rocket I might listen to "rocket scientists". Since I drive a car (or motorhome) I would rather listen to automotive engineers!

Applying "rocket science" to Detroit motor vehicles that were engineered by
the same people that brought you the vega, does not seem to me to have any
application. The technology in the GMC motor home, while pretty snazzy for
the 70s, relied on basic engineering concepts and methods that were present
in the mid 50s, with the added influence of bean counters. Not much rocket
science here. They can benefit somewhat from improved fuel delivery systems
and certainly the aluminum radiators are a good addition. But a brass tanked
fin and tube soldered radiator has a very long service life, which is just
about up. Not too much wrong with a pilot light on a water heater or a range
either. Better than scratching your head wondering if your $100.00 printed
circuit board is at fault, or if you are only out of Propane. Onan
generators have at least a 2500 hour service life between overhauls, but the
circuit board controller probably does not, considering that they were
assembled by human hands and the components were all mounted, not
integrated, and most of the connections were soldered by hand. Those types
of boards are subject to vibration failures as well as overheat and voltage
spikes. If you follow the messages on the net for any time at all, that and
ignition and fuel delivery problems are the most common.

And what would your employers - or ANY auto manufacturer give for ANYthing which didn't affect driveability but gave a noticeable mileage increase? Can you say 'rich beyond your wildest dreams....'?

There is this first law of thermodynamics thing that gets in the way of things like this, and perpetual motion machines.

True, but as soon as my 35 million com,es in from the banker in Uganda I'm helping, I'll have enough money to repeal the First Law!

Must be true, I read it on the Internet.
Right after GM was assimilated by Obama, a group of bureaucrats visited GM with a list of demands for a new car. One of the engineers commented on their demand for 150 miles per gallon, saying that it violated the laws of physics. They wanted to know who's law that was so they could get it repealed.
