Yeah, oddly I was told by the guy on the phone, (not Jim) that it had to be the right part and I could send it back if I didn't like it. I emailed them pictures demonstrating it's similarity to the stock part (virtually identical) and me measuring the area where the gauge would fit, it it could. The response was that I could send it back if it "didn't work for me" - authored by the same guy I spoke with. Nothing about them having or not having the correct part.
Ugh. I've had great service from Applied in the past but this isn't good.
Jim? Hate to air the laundry here, but I haven't been able to find you.

Mike,
I had the correct one shipped to you direct.
It should work.
We will send you a call tag to have the wrong one picked up so you'll
not need to pay freight back and make sure we do not charge double for
freight.

I made my own out of thin plywood and some wood scraps to make ears to attach to the underside of the dash. I put in a couple of air vents, some switches, a vacTach and air gage. I'm not afraid of messing it up because if I do, I can make another one just as easy. Some of the ready made panels are at a set angle. If you make your own, you can make it at any angle you want for ease of eye sight. Makes a great switch panel also.
