I had to post the Lucas vile pic on my FB page. Also if ever I see a Range Rover on the street running I think to myself, That's odd, it should be on the hook shouldn't it?

Arthur Mansfield wrote on Mon, 27 June 2011 20:13 | What about the other resistors if R1 is bad what about the others? Mine has quit when it is hot out. Runs fine when not hot..
My the way that filter they sell now does not work very well. I messed up and was running mine from a gas can and used a fuel line I had in the shop. It had some junk in it and it went thru the filter and I saw it go into the carb. I had clear line what between the pump and the carb. As the Onan ran I not only saw the dirt but also saw bubbles after the Onan ran for a while. That was when I changed to the dirty line since I was wondering if it was coming from the line I had going to the gas can. It was not I still got air bubbles in the line and they got worst the more the Onan ran. So I am going to replace the pump and filter with a Mr Gasket 3.5 psi pump and filter.
Does anyone know were I can get a new shut off valve that is in front of the pump. I have never looked for one of those. I guess the bubbles could be coming from the shut off valve leaking. I double checked to make sure everything was tight when I changed lines.
I do not think it was from the gas boiling since I could put my hand on the pump and it was not hot. The Onan would run until the bubbles in the line to the carb got bad enough to shut it down.
Plan tomorrow is to clean the carb. Change the pump and filter and leave off the shut off valve. If that works then I will install the shut off valve and see what happens.
Anyone know how good a Mr Gasket pump is? It is the right pressure and it will fit.

I have not checked the others. Resistors do not normally age. Capacitors do but I'm too lazy to go check them. If it runs after I replace the resistor and I put the board back in, then I'll leave it at that. If, not then I'll go shoot the next problem.
Some one asked about the solenoid / valve in the gas line. I do not have one and do not know if this coach ever had one. It is almost useless in our configuration.
If you feel you need one why not just a install a stainless check valve from McMaster-Carr in it's place. Jim K. also has one he uses in his electric fuel pump kit with the Carter P4070. Maybe he will sell it by itself.
