I don't know Andre, but he was just on the local (Oakland, California) Channel 2 10 o'clock news. The story was about the National Oil Reserve being tapped to help reduce prices. The reporter interviews folks at a gas station - when interviewing Andre the reporter says "Andre Mandel says his vintage 1976 RV gets about 9 miles to the gallon..."
It's a Royale he is filling up with very nice Alcoa wheels.

Andre traveled back to New England states last year and had some small
problems along the way.
He is a Bachelor and works as an Architect.
He and I worked on his coach till I got pi--ed off when he did not
appreciate my free Ornamental Sunday labor on our rack.
Were still friends, but no more free Ornamental labor.
I will send him to see Manny Tovaio and have him tell Manny how lousy
we are and have him do work on his coach free like he does for
numerous people.

Andre dropped by Fleet Week, but he didn't make it until kinda late and he didn't have time to stay. I see him all over the place with his Birchhaven, "Mango Mushroom". Hopefully he'll come visit more often.

Seems strange to pick on Manny, the only person in the world that can keep
our GMCs on the road by being:
1 the only source for GMC tranny rebuilds with custom manufactured parts.
2 The only source for (1-ton - Version II), 200,000 mile bearings and
front end kits.
3 Uses his own resources to provide these services for our GMC vendors to
install.
Manny is a prince among men, does not use, self depreciating, poor taste,
ethnic humor ;~), and is our only hope for the future of GMC motorhomes with
these products.
As a GMC vendor, he has no equal, or competition in his areas of products.
He does all of this for no financial gain, and to provide products for our
other vendors to use in their commercial operations. He even fly's
coast-to-coast (on his own hook) to supply these products to our vendors.
His work on individual GMCs has allowed him to fine-tune his products to
make them the best-they-can-be.
He is a Prince (and his name is Trovao)
