1976 Coachmen BIRCHAVEN
NO RESERVE!!! 1976 GMC 23' class A Motorhome Camper RV currently $2075.
There is a lot of description in the listing, apparently he has a "clear open" NJ title but the coach is in PA. He did not answer if the title is in his name or a PO. You need a PA title to get PA transit tags, so you'd either need to get NJ tags, cheat, or pay him and get him to mail the title in you, register the coach and carry the plates up there. Of course to do that you would have to convince him to be helpful and send you the signed title and trust him with your money.
I sent several eBay questions about rust (this is a PA/NJ coach with attendant salt risks, after all) and tires - I asked for date codes. Also asked for details about the condition of the awnings, and asked if he thought it would be able to be driven to NC.
His response was nothing more than
"selling as is."

"buying as not"

He either knows something is bad or doesn't know/care that it is costing him quite a bit of money.... but someone might bid it up without knowing... happens a lot.

If I were looking for another 23 foot "basket case," this would be something of interest:

1973 GMC canyon 23
Title: 1973 GMC Motorhome 23
VIN: TZE033V101645
Mileage: 108,000 miles
Vehicle title: Clear
Features
Awnings: 1

1972 GMC Motorhome 23 foot It ran when I parked it there 10 years ago.
I am the original owner. Its been all over the US and Canada about 108 thousand miles.
It went 100 MPH on the Salt Flats no one else was there at the time so no record.
The 23s advantage is it can park in a normal parking spot.
I would say its a good canadate for a restoreation project or as parts.
I would also say it will need to be hauled to its new home.

I asked Sting what did he use to measure the 100 mph since OEM speedo won't
do it.
His response "I just went out and looked, the speedometer in mine shows 120
mph.
It was an early one."
