The last time that I used paint on my engine was when I painted the intake manifold. Walmart had a can labeled either Oldsmobile Engine paint or GMC engine paint. I don't remember which but it was a great match for the engine.

Use "GM Blue" Sometimes it is a little hard to find, you might have to order it. Made by Plasti-Coat. Don't use Ford Blue which is much more common but a poor match.

Don't use Ford Blue??? Guys....it's an engine compartment...as soon as you start driving, it gets oily/dirty, and when parked, it gets pooped on by mice and chipmunks.
I'd worry about matching paint on the body or in the interior. After the 3rd try, I even stop trying to fix oil leaks...figure it makes for good antirust of the frame etc. JMHO
