Trying to remove the current dead frig from the Avion coach. I've removed the "hidden" mounting screw from the front of the frig. Are there any more lurking that are less visible to the eye? Or, Does the installation of a frig call for a sealing gasket or something behind the lip/flange to secure it to the wall, and seal the frig compartment from the combustion by-products from the gas heater?
New frig arrives Thursday, and I hope to be ready to install it.
Anyone want or need any parts from a Dometic Model 66 frig, let me know by PM. They are yours for the postage, however, trash is hauled out on Friday.

Tom,
If you haven't done so yet take the outside vent off and look at the fridges
"feet" the Dometic in Double Trouble (not original) is screwed down to the
floor.
Chuck,
Could you take a quick squiz at the fridge in the parts Avion for Tom?

Tom, our fridge was held in place by copious amounts of expanding foam.......and nothing else. I thought I would never get it out. Since our coaches came from the same place that could be it. Good luck. John

Hurray, The frig is out. The finisher of the coach, Avion installed two screws from the bottom of the overhead cabinets into the frig. Once I removed these, the frig came out very easily.I know that they were original, because they were the clutch (hope that is right) type screws that are all over the GMC's. Almost wish that I could find a set of screwdrivers for these. Not at Harbor Freight.

Tom,
I've emailed you an invoice for a complete set of the Clutch Head bits that
I got from McMaster Carr. They come in two lengths 1" and 2" and fit in 1/4"
socket.

I've a set of drivers I got from W.W Grainger several years ago. Unfortunately, there's no name on maker on it, save a small triangle made of three arrows and PE-HD under it. It has regular and security Torx drivers, which is why I bought it. It also has every type of screw head I've ever seen, all square drive with a 1/4" hex adaptor. I'll throw a picture of it with the radio upgrade pix.
