If I use ZDDP in a new car - will the tappets go flat?

'Hensley GMC Motorhome', have we seen these before? Guess they make the adapters. What's the max lift compared to the original? Looks like the lower limit is higher, which is probably a good thing.

John,

Yes, they've been posted here before.

Bdub has posted the spreadsheet Andrew prepared which compares the various
rear suspension systems;

http://www.bdub.net/GMCSupplierLinks.html

It's at the very top under REAR SUSPENSION OPTIONS.

If you click on it and then scroll all the way down under Leigh Harrison
you'll find a link to the Firestone specs on the bag for his system and next
to it specs for the bag for Jim K's system.

IIRC these bags only expand and contract about 3-4 inches total so there
wouldn't be much height adjustment available for leveling when parked.

Rob M.

It's a good looking and cheap alternative to the original.
I just watched the video and if I'm not mistaken, the air line to the
fitting connection at the bag is a compression fit....so why use Teflon tape
(thread tape) on the 'pipe threads on the valve' ??

Take two small sections of pool noodle and try pushing them in together and you'll have a picture of why I have my reservations about the design. Spend another $300 on the Single Cone and you have virtually all the benefits of the OEM design. Spend $900 more and you get additional benefits with the Q-bag.
