Hi all,
Some time ago there was a post for someone making replacements for those little translucent name tags for the indicator lights on the dash. (Lights, Fuel Main, Bat Normal, Wiper, etc)  I thought I had saved it but now I cannot find it. Does anyone recall this source? I have the dash apart and thought I might as well spruce it  up by replacing all the dash lights and the indicator name tags while I'm repainting the dash.
Thanks!
Lyle
PS. Just as an fyi. If anyone is traveling through central Illinois on I-55 and needs a week day stop over, we would recommend "Sangchris Lake State Park" Hickory Point Campground about 15 miles east of I-55 just south of Springfield. It's ususally packed on the weekends, but Sunday afternoon through Thursday you can typically just drop in and get a decent spot right on the lake. Weekend reservations are only taken online at least seven days in advance. Lots of trees and shade on fairly large size camp lots. The park has 30 amp electrical hookups - no water - but does have a nice shower cabin. $20 a night.

I've done this!

It is quite possibly the simplest feel-good fix you can do. Buy both the labels and the lamp <http://www.bdub.net/novak/> take off the dash (really it's easy once you get the headlight knob off) and do it!

I also have "Dash lights that work" thanks to Len Novak and Eric Gibbons. This truly is the feel-good project of the year (since 0 wrenches are needed...)
