Yes, I see what you mean. You do have an inch more travel with the 1.25" MC
bore over the 34mm. but I have 80mm calipers right now so the pedal seems
OK. So how about keeping the stock MC and just adding the sensitized
booster?
Thanks

Gary, Unless you go to 6 wheel discs, the OEM MC will be sufficient, and in
fact has a higher pressure capability depending upon how hard that you press
on the brake pedal, can be as high as 1000 PSI. Both the OEM booster and the
sensitized ones deliver about the same peak pressure to the MC, the
difference is less pedal effort with the sensitized one. 80 MM caliper
pistons on the front is a good upgrade, as is yellow ceramic brake pads on
the front, with semi metallic linings on the rear. There are many opinions
about rear brakes, mainly centered on discs vs drums or a combination of
them. If you are considering the Chuck Algur reaction arm upgrade, you must
run discs on the axle that you have the reaction arm on. If everything is
shot on the drum brakes, replacement costs for disc upgrade is fairly
attractive. If you are going to all discs, I would wait until the
development is done on the ebrake setup, and change it all at the same time.
If you do go to 6 wheel discs, then a MC with a higher volume of fluid
displacement, similar to the P-30 will be required. Opinions vary somewhat
on brakes, kinda like tires and wheels.
