Hi folks. About a year and a half ago I was a newbie on his site looking for a GMC and your advice and encouragement helped me find a really good one. In the time I have had it I spent a lot of time making it even better and then we took it four thousand miles through PA, NY, Quebec, Nova Scotia and Maine. We loved it, but the sad fact is that we are heading back to the land of narrow roads and nine dollar a gallon gas so our beloved Harvey has had to find a new home. He's gone to a couple who fell in love with it the moment they saw it - our next door neighbours. I think it should give them many years of pleasure and I am jealous of them.

Before I go though I wanted to thank you all for your patience, encouragement and enhusiasm. Having our GMC was one of the great hilights of our family life, and it wouldn't have been as much fun without you!

Good luck, safe travels, and keep on GMCing.

Enjoy your further travels in good health (and remember which side of the road to drive on!).

Richard,

I was one of the people who followed your blog faithfully last summer. Thank you so much for sharing that wonderful adventure. The pictures were fabulous and the writing was interesting and funny. It gave me lots of ideas for future trips.

I'm sorry to see you go, but happy that Harvey has gone on to a new owner who will appreciate him as much as you and your family did.

Well Just remember, here at the GMCnet, the light is always on and the mat is out... Everyone grouped around an imaginative fire pit, be sure to come back often and tell us about your new location and experiences.

Glad you had a good time here... Stop by and say hello, I'll keep the coffee hot.
