Be careful with where the electric fuel pump is mounted. Most are designed to be as close to the fuel tank as possible. Also, most recommend a pressure regulator near the carb. The pressure rating of most pumps isn't all that accurate & can put more pressure than the needle valve can handle. I'm beginning to think that is part of the problem I'm having. I'm beginning to think the mechanical pump is better because it's pressure & flow varies with engine RPM. Since I have one now, I'll mount it at the outlet of the selector solenoid as I'm replacing the lines. I think rodents may have gotten to them because I'm not getting gas to both the engine or the genset. I'll be running it on a boat tank to move it to a place where I can get under it. That will also verify that bad gas is an issue if the coach's problems go away on the boat tank with clean fresh gas. Way down at the bottom of my wish list is to convert to a dual fill option so I can fill the tanks
separately instead of having them transfer fuel between them.
I plan on just replacing the supply lines to the engine to start with. I'll redo the vents when the tanks are dropped.

I'd wager that your fuel lines have rotted from the alcohol in your tank and not the work of critters.

I'm no fan of separating the fuel tanks but I am a fan of the in-tank fuel pumps. I have an electric pump mounted to the frame and it's loud enough that it bothers me at idle. A pressure regulator is a good idea, but it must have a return line to bleed off pressure. Separate tanks would complicate the return system.

That is not a problem if you use a 6 port selector valve. One side for fuel to the engine, the other side for the return to the tank.
