Okay, download - - print out before working, etc. Great!
What if your coach is in one location and your computer in another? Like mine and John Sharpe's and even Robert Mueller (US and Australia)!

My advice is to buy the Maintenance Manual and the Parts Manual, both still available from Cinnabar and others. I take the books on the road too -even though we have WiFi on the computer.

I am old school finding that one situation often leads to another when fixing something on the GMC so one section of the book may not be enough to find the answer. Example, alternator problem was not the alternator but incorrectly wired by mecnanic who fixed the dash air. The wiring diagram in the book was very helpful in understanding the problem......Michael at GEMRECS

These new tablet computers are getting cheaper and cheaper, to the point where they really can travel with you while your main computer sits at home. I downloaded all the manuals onto my new iPad, and they're nice and easy to read. Though I have the Cinnebar books, the clarity of the photos makes it hard to visualize what you're looking at, and I prefer the files on my computer. The ability to enlarge the font also can help greatly when you're trying to make out some small illustration.

I'm also rather old-school in enjoying a printed book, but this new technology is rather impressive and hard to beat.

Michael,

Cinnabar doesn't have any Maintenance Manuals left; all they have is Parts
Books.

Rob travels with his notebook which he can connect to the Internet anywhere
using his Verizon USB 760 Modem. He even has a printer in Double Trouble.
However, he also has original copies of the MM and PB.

John has an iPhone and can find anything you want on it!

Regards,
Rob M.

Robert is right, as usual, Cinnabar has indeed run out of the printed Maintenance Manual. They said they lost their print company and that there are enough manuals in print for every GMC to have one. They have not made a decision to reprint.

So if you have an extra GMC Maintenance Manual there is a market for them from GMCers, even though the electronic ones are also available.
