I drove it home with a transport plate after working on it in the rain in his driveway with him for a couple of days to get it "functional". At 50 mph the temp engine cover(osb) flew up in the air and I had to stomp it back down and drive the rest of the way with my left foot operating the controls and my right on the cover. It has a six disc set up but the booster was burned. I replaced with booster/master cyl combo from oriellys but the booster shaft was too long so we cut/sleeved/ and welded it. Close but no cigar. Had an insurance binder on it tho. Its pretty much consumed me since

And don't forget our Vendors - almost any part is available, such as the correct booster and master cylinder. Jim Kanomata's Applied GMC is just down here in Fremont, Ca. If you need parts, he's probably got 'em.
