Did the rear wheel spindles change over the years??

The reason I'm asking is we upgraded our '73 to the later style (bigger pin) bogies
with all new pins, bushings, and brakes, but had to re-use our '73 spindles.
Then I bought a '75 which has become our "primary" GMC, and the poor little '73
is now a yard ornament. Given that the bogie upgrade cost an arm and a leg,
I'm considering moving it to the '75 coach...

thanks,
Karen

Thanks Dennis, I'd forgotten about that. Looks like our '73 went
through the recall, judging by he notches on the hub (eight) and
the inner dust cap size (2.5").

thanks,

Thanks; so now I guess the question is: if an early coach has been through the
rear spindle/hub recall, does it have the same spindle as later coaches?

Amazing how many things changed on these coaches over the span of production.
Some for the better, some not so much...

thanks,
Karen
