A quick note on the Brake Reaction System Install at Bean Station.

System works GREAT! When you get on the brakes you get yanked out of your seat. No doubt about what may happen on the road in front of you, You're gonna stop. And if you don't load the coach with that in mine stuff's going to fly!

Special thanks go to Gary Kosier, Ray Bechtel, Ken Henderson, Rob Mueller and all the guys in the "Pit" keeping an eye on QC. It took longer than planned but everytstep was evaluated and discussed with keen interest. Max exposure was given for all those interested. Which was the reason the raffle was held in the first place (thanks again for the winning ticket Nancy!).

There will be a short lessons learned list produced of minor items for the next installation.

Thanks to Al and Marty Samsel for the awesome venue for the weekend activity.

JimK and ChuckA, in my humble opinion the system is a must have winner.

Thanks again to all!

Great George. I knew you were going to love it. It will get better too as the pads burn in. I love mine. The thing stops, no questions in your mind anymore. I have prayed a few times to keep from wrecking. Now I can just think about stopping and the coach starts squatting in anticipation of my foot touching the pedal. Chuck A. did one fine job coming up with this thing.
Life is good, with one less worry.
Dan,

George,

Just because I couldn't get to Bean Station doesn't mean I don't want some
instructional clarifications, etc. to post on the Eastern States web site.

This reminds me to sent Kanomata an email to thank him, once again, for
making the raffle a divided thing for the benefit of Western States and
Eastern States.

Byron,
You bet cha'. I'm working on an article for the Dixielanders Post Bean Station news letter. Gary Kosier, Ray Bechtel, Ken Henderson, Rob Mueller and I all voiced comments for future installations. There are key items to be documented.

Without the work of Nancy and Steve Ferguson donating their help,
there would have been no drawing.
Terry and Dan Gregg also helped in selling the tickets and again
without their help we would not been able to do it.
Also all the people that purchased the tickets.

George, I am glad you guys were able to get that installed at Bean Station. Sorry I was not there. Most folks probably have a difficult time believing the braking power we now have. When I saw that you won, and not me, I called and got on the list to get our very own. Glad I did. We now have 3500 miles of stopping on it and it is great. I hit mine yesterday and threw all the stuff off the bed. Teri was not with me and I just wanted to do it. Ain't life fun for boys when momma is not with us?
Thanks Jim for donating the two systems. Thanks Chuck A. for all of your hard work to help us.
Dan

FWIW..
It might also be a good idea to have a 'disclaimer' for liability for the providers of the kit JIC..
When I get mine, I wouldn't mind signing one as I would be responsible for the decision to change/adapt the original coach from stock.
