I still want to see lot of you spend the 30 for International as the
information you'll get will be worth it.
If not, I'll need to reimburse you.

I bought some from the Ford dealer some time ago. Not expensive and fit well. You might want to take an old one for comparison.

==============================

Netters

I want to see all of you become members of GMCMI also.

It was the first club I joined after buying my GMC in 1998. Even though I was alienated early on by their leader, Ralph Luby, I still enjoyed the newsletter and found the other materials valuable. There is no longer any alienation like that. That ended in 2004 when Emery was given the reins and has gotten better ever since. GMCMI is now a caring organization of owners and a premium source of information concerning all things GMC Motorhome. Unlike the pre-2004 days, the current staff will bend over backwards to accommodate your needs.

The advent of the internet has certainly changed things, but I like to think that the GMCMI publications are still valuable. They're certainly as inexpensive as anything you'll ever buy for your GMC. At $30 per year for membership dues, that's only $7.50 per mailing. "Ya can't fill up a gas can for that!"

GMCMI is currently having a membership drive that will culminate at the Goshen, Indiana convention next September. Everyone who recruits a new member will be put into a drawing for a prize worth $200 donated by Jim Kanomata of Applied GMC. Ya'll all join and then recruit each other. Ya might get lucky. :-) ... You'll be a winner either way.

Kim created a new recruitment brochure for us that you can print and distribute. Put your name in the space for the referral before distribution. Your name will be entered in the drawing for each member you sign up. <www.gmcmi.com/forms/GMCMI_Brochure.pdf>

The Spring mailing which will include the latest revision of the annual Parts Interchange Index will go to the printer next week along with the mailing list. Sign up now to get on that list!

Join those that are there for you. <www.gmcmi.com/app.html>

WHOA! Heresy!

I cannot believe any one would recommend putting a Ford part on an GMC.

We put HONDA (you know... like JAPAN) seats in them.
.
..
... Twisted Evil

BUT... I seem to remember stickers on mine that may lead me to believe the seats where made right here in the USA.

When I worked in the automotive soft goods business years ago, there was a
leather company in Newark, NJ - Sexton was the name. After each model year
they would dump all their surplus leather. I worked at Kanter Auto Products
at the time. We would by 5,000 - 10,000 hides a year. Honda, Acura,
Toyota, Lexus etc. all sourced from NJ to the US assembly plants.

The surplus upholstery fabric was bought up by DeLeo Company. They sell to
auto upholstery and trim shops. Stock fabrics over 10 years old. Mostly
used for repairing rips, burn holes etc. If you look on the back of the
material it has a year stamped on it. The material was dated one year prior
to production.
