I am getting ready to make my trip to retieve the 76 Birch and I need a little help.
It has 2 12volt batteries up front on the passenger side next to the motor, in a line, front and back. I did not see a battery for the ONAN and I do not think there is room for one in the ONAN compartment.
I will have to replace all batteries.
Which battery is for the engine and which is for the house?
What size 12 Volt do I need for the engine?
I want to replace the 12 volt house battery with 2 deep cycle 6 volt golf cart batteries. What size should I get?
For the ONAN what size 12 volt battery should I get?
Can someone point me to where the ONAN battery might be located?
Any and all suggestions are welcomed.
If any one in the San Antonio area or the Harlingen area wants to go along on this adventure, please contact me.

Ted and Mike
Thank both of you for responding. I do plan on using 2 T 105 6 volt deep cycle golf cart batteries for the house instead of the 1 12 volt that is in it now. Do either of you know the size/group number for the 12 volt engine battery. It has an aluminum battery tray that will hold 3 batteries.
I hope to resurect this coach this coming Thursday.

Bob,
It really doesn't matter what the size/group rating is really, just
get the biggest battery you can say 800/900 CCA battery and install
it. In this case higher rating is good.
