We are thinking of buying or leasing an Arizona home in the Tucson or Suharita area so we can spend part of the year nearer our grandchildren. Most everything seems to be "gated" with no long term RVs allowed. We are looking for recommendations for decent neighborhoods where we can park our Birchaven on the driveway or next to the house without restrictions. Plan exploratory trip departing San Francisco 4/17 arrive Tucson 4/19 departing 4/22. Appreciate any advice.
Thanks!!

One of the Jetsetters, Ed Guise, has a piece of property for sale in Marana, north of Tucson. While it is in the opposite direction of Sahuarita, it is still reasonably close. I haven't seen Ed's property, but I understand it has a modest house and a GMC + sized garage.

If you would like, I can get Ed's contact info for you, or he might see this posting on the Net and respond himself.

Nice Garage!

FWIW, look for an older home in a non-HOA neighborhood. I park my coach in the driveway.

I have a friend from Idaho with two mobile homes on lots with room for a coach a few of miles west of downtown Sahuarita. He plans to rent or lease one of them in the near future after completing renovation.  His son lives in Sahuarita and has been shopping for homes for a couple of years.   If you want to talk to him, give me a call and I can put you in contact with him.  At least he may know the name of a good Realtor.
