I am writing this from the main building at the rally site at Patterson, La. I can access the internet from here
but can not from my coach which is located in the front [limpers] row.
Maybe a bandwidth problem.
Anyways, I got stuck in Decatur, Alebamy a few days ago, on teh way here.
Stopped at an off ramp coincident with a McDonalds and Chevron. rt 67
Wanted to get gas and use the wifi.
I must have stopped at the only Mickies that didnt have wifi. No joy.
Got back into coach------no start.
Key turned, lights lit, but no noise.

Tried the usual stuff.
Then phoned Emory. He got Gene Fisher on a 3 way phone patch and they gave me the correct work around;
Jumper a hot lead to the 2 purple wires found [with great difficulty] at the floor, off the left side of the neutral safety switch.
This bypasses the column 'stuff' and gives power to the starter solenoid.
I tried it while on the phone and for whatever reason [wife not talking and dog barking] I failed.
Hung up and slept overnight to ponder. Safe spot, paved between the Mickies and Chevron.

Next morning phoned Ken Burton and he almost immediately gave me the same suggestions; hot wire [momentarily] to the purple wires.
I tried once again and JOY.
IT STARTED.

At this point I was good to go but thought my key switch had failed so I bought a new one at an Advanced Auto there, about $14
