Gee Mike, you are right, I have too many fingers for the lap top, and being
on the digest my responses are usually later and I don't see a way
to connect them. Thanks for understanding.
Emery, thanks I will try the grooving using one of my drum sanders with the
race one and turning on the drill press, them slotting them with the Demerol
tool. I just did not want jeopardize the integrity of the race, so I am
worried about depth.

In my last email I may not have been specific enough about the grooves that are needed.
I used a Dremel cutting disk to cut small groves along both sides of the spacer and across the outside. I did this at the 12 o’clock, 3, 6 and 9 o’clock positions. I then ground a very shallow groove all around the outside center line of the spacer. This allows grease to flow from the outside of the hub where the Zerk is located to the center of the wheel bearing.

Looking at the layout on the gmcmhphoto site I think the Dremel slitting technique is too difficult. Heck, if the keyboard is a challenge, then that slit is going to be a bear!
I'm pretty sure that you don't need to actually slit the race, it is the spacer you are modifying, anyway, isn't it? Just enough to let the grease slide in.

Hardie,
I apologize in advance if what follows upsets you but all I KNOW is that
Dave Lenzi who I KNOW KNOWS a hell of a lot more about hubs and knuckles
than I ever will drills his spacers with a carbide drill and cuts a
circumferential slot in them.

Dave also told me that the batch I sent him had bigger diameter
spacers than before so the grove around the spacer needed to be done.
Only Dave L could have made such observation.
We now have Dave or our machinist do that for us when we have requests.
