Forgot to mention, the new booster I got from GMC COOP works as advertised, but better than I was used to... When I drove it to the gas station before it started acting up on me, I stepped on the brakes & needless to say, my son won't be standing up in the coach again... I wasn't used to just how little brake pedal pressure was needed & it stopped RIGHT NOW! It's gonna take some getting used to with new calipers, pads & hoses on the front. JimB told me they'd be a little touchy, but I wasn't expecting the power it puts out. Folks, if you haven't bought one from the 2 Jims yet, you don't know what you're missing. It stops now like a vehicle half it's weight...
BTW, I figure the goose egg my son collected will go down in a day or 2... Maybe now he'll take heed when I tell him to sit down...

My experience as well. I don't understand the workings of a brake booster other than general theory, or what makes one a sensitized booster, but I do know that it works nicely and consistantly.

I also purchased JimB's vaccuum storage solution, but haven't gotten around to putting that on as of yet. Good brakes are very important on a 12,000 lb. Hot Rod!
