Dear Friends,
Joe is in the hospital with a bowl obstruction. He has been ill with tummy
distress since last Friday. He had surgery Tuesday night and is resting
comfortably. He is sedated and intabated in the ICU. His body went through
a lot in the past 7 days trying to function; hence the sedation to keep him
from thrashing and possibly pulling out any lines.
Who all will this message reach through you?

Joe and I do some business, found out that he was in the hospital
with blockage Friday.
Did not realize it was that serious until I saw the post.
Grace and I sent him a card.
We know Mary will be at Joe's side and make sure the staff at the
hospital do not do foolish things.

Just got off the cell pone with Mary, Joe was doing very will
Yesterday after surgery.
Apparently the small intestine wrapped up and had to remove a small section.
Mary said that this was going on for about a week before he finally
gave in to let Mary take him int the Hospital.
Today he is under some pain and did not want to talk to me. That is
understandable. Who wants to talk to an Ornamental anyway.
I or Grace will check in with Mary Sunday and let you know how things
are progressing.

I had the exact same surgery and I know first hand that it is no damn picnic. So sorry to hear that Joe has had to endure this. We hope to see Joe later at the fall rallys.

Mary was a nurse so she knows what she is saying.
Doctors get benifits from using drugs on their patients.
