All this talk about connecting puck lights reminded me of what I did with about 5 of them. My overhead cabinets were spaced out when the valences were installed for the blinds, so I'm not sure if unmodified coaches will work. I have little pockets at the leading and trailing ends of the overheads where you can stick your hand up into. I placed a puck light in each one of those "pockets". You can't see the light fixtures but at night all I need to do is turn them on by pressing the lense and I get great indirect lighting down the walls that give give a nice cool glow to the inside of the coach--sorry no pics yet.

Bob, sounds like an interesting idea but I'm a bit confused as to the orientation of the puck light. Perhaps I should wait until you put up the photo(s).

Also, did you mount them using the double sided tape that many of these come with? And did you wire them or use batteries?

Yes, without pics it is confusing. The puck lights are stuck to the sidewalls in those cavities and don't shine down but shine horizontally. The resultant light "spills" down to light the walls. I'll post something this weekend--probably should have done that first Smile

I know if you have a white reflective surface, the light is stronger. A piece of papers is good enough to test the theory, A white piece of plastic or tin is good for permanence.

I thought I would mention, there are Led, 5mm size that run off 12vdc directly. The resisters are already in them. If you put them in an LED housing, all cheap, you can use them for small lighting effects, shine on guages, night light in a fixture, whatever you might dream up to customize.

These are available at AllElectronicsCorp search " 12vdc LED "

come in white, red and blue, maybe yellow.
