I have seen several pictures of coaches with an updated exterior refridgerator door. Is there a particular one that works best or is the right size? Do you have to cut the hole bigger for the new door?
Thanks,
Rickmo

I'm not sure about getting a new door, but what I did was simply take the door off, carefully remove the outer trim, then slide out the door panels. Clean and lightly sand the panels, then prime and paint the door panels with appliance paint, available at HD or Lowes. Repeat with the trim which I believe is just plastic. I painted the panels appliance paint white and the trim a gunmetal grey and it looks and holds up very well. The other thing you can do, especially if you are redoing your countertops, is get an extra piece of the formica and just insert it in the door in place of the original door panels. We were going that route until we decided that there is such a thing as too much of a good thing and went with the contrasting paint.

I believe from previous posts that you have a 73... In 73, GM did not install a door except as a retrofit so yours may differ from "standard". The one on my 73 does not open and is attached to the body with about 20 screws. Some 73 owners have found replacement doors to work, others have had to modify the opening (thinking of Kelvin here -- see his album on the photo site -- http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/showgallery.php?cat=5525).
Consider adding your coach model and your location to your signature line -- it often makes a difference in the correctness of replies you receive.

OOps, sorry. I missed the exterior thing also. Exterior, I did buy and install the plastic panel and surround. As I recall it did involve a bit of cutting to slightly enlarge the opening. I suggest you give one of the Jim's a call and ask them about your specific coach before you order.

I was able to obtain a "Norcol" labeled exterior frig door from a wrecked RV. They are around, and cheap. Be sure and get both pieces of the plastic door; the door itself, and the frame that attaches to the vehicle body.
