Was out getting the coach ready for Eastern States. Replaced the fuel vapor separator, found and fixed the plumbing leaks, changed the oil, fixed a few bad connections, gave her a 4 side bath (was too lazy to do the top, oh well, shows the progress on the rest!). Can't wait to head out Thursday. My wife is finishing up some new slip covers for our upholstery and the new memory foam mattress topper arrived for sleeping.
Unfortunately the new Honda seats aren't here yet, so I'll probably drag them to Bean Station as my secondary project (desperately want to get the Birch screen door I've had sitting in my garage for 2 years installed). Life is good when you are staring at a trip in the GMC!

Jeremy,
Bring along the door. Maybe you could get the door installed at Dillard.
There will be at least a dozen who'll watch. You'd need to appoint the
supervisor, however.

Unfortunately the door is in a bit of bad shape. Quite a bit of bad shape. Bob Stockholm has graciously agreed to ferry it back to Bob Burkitt after the rally. Bob B. is going to put it on the original frame and get it properly shaped. Then he's going to bring it back to me at Bean Station with all the parts I don't have so I can install it on the coach. And I fully intend, if he's willing, to appoint Bob B. the grand Poobah of that task! I'm perfectly happy being an Indian and letting the Chief get it done right.
Looks like the weather will be fantastic in Dillard. I was so excited getting the coach cleaned up and ready today I almost called in sick for the entire week so we could just hit the road. Unfortunately I need those paychecks to pay for the gas (or my daughter's college education in 18 years, whatever is more important)...

Jeremy,
Bob rebuilt my Birch Screen door and installed it at the Miller's home in Ohio. Good fit and still tight. It was a great investment and improvement.
I'm going to bypass Dillard (was there last summer with the Dixielanders) and stay local with the Sunshine Statesmen. Will be one of GMCs that will be racing the 1/4 mile at the Bithlo/Orlando Speedway.
