I have the PDF but have not come across the real deal until the other day.
While checking eBay for newly listed items I can across this one. I got it
the other day and it is in excellent condition. Has anyone come across them
in their travels and what do they go for? I thought $9.95 was a real
bargain.

Brian,
You got a very good buy, in the distant past I had sold several originals for $10 each, they should be worth more at this point.

FYI: there are 3 versions of these coloring books,
1- originals printed ~1974
2- Reprints by Cinnabar/Wes Coughlin, late 1990s
3- Red Holman issue, browntone covers instead of full color, interiors identical (rarest version)

How to tell #1 from #2: both have full color covers and are nearly identical except for interior pages due to ageing. The original interior pages have usually yellowed around edges.

Hi Mike,
Red Holman was one of the original larger GMC MH dealers in Michigan. You probably have GMC parts sales flyers as he advertised a lot and often had parts specials. I used to buy parts from him in the mid '80s before our present guys were around. Zeb Frady was his chief parts guy back then. (OK, don't anybody ask, who is Zeb Frady :^)

Mike

My coach was originally purchased from Red Holman GMC Pontiac
Oldsmobile dealer. He is still in business in Wayne Michigan. Not far
from where I live. Not sure what he is selling now, sense they do not
make Pontiac or Oldsmobile. Maybe just GMC trucks. I guess my coach
has been in Michigan all it's life. That is probably why the frame
rusted out. Red Holman does not want anything to do with the GMC motor
home. They do not work on them and carry no parts. Your coach may have
been sold from there or serviced there when new.

Bill -

It may be the reprint but it looks older than the 90's. The pages are on a
newsprint type paper and they have a yellow tint throughout. There is no
yellowing on the edges and the cover is in color. Did either of the colored
cover versions have a copyright date on them, this does not. I like it just
the same and don't plan on parting with it. It would be nice to get one of
each version. I'll probably print up a few from the PDF I have just to have
some in the coach for the kids.

Thanks,

I recently scored an original 75-76 Service

that came with it there was a parts list from
Red Holman GMC showing some prices.

Front Wheel Bearing - 79/59
Rear Wheel Bearing (Inner) - 13.50/10
Rear Wheel Bearing (Outer) - 24.50/18.50
Ladder & Roof Rack - 225/189
Storage Pod - 306/225
