I saw this noted on Jim Bounds' blog. He made a good observation about cost of the policy. Mine, with Progressive, only went up 20 or 30 bux a year when I sent in Kanomata's appraisal. My coverage went from 13 grand to 40k. I paid Jim 100 bux for the appraisal in 07. I think I got my money's worth. When Jim Garmin's coach burned he had a fight on his hands because he had no appraisal on file. He got 1/3 of what he had in the GMC.
I know that Jim K. makes time to do appraisals at the conventions. If you have any concerns you may want to visit with Jim about one. I need an update on mine.
