This is going to be another great gathering. If you ever watch "Swamp People" on tv, we will be right in the thick of where they film the show. There are gators everywhere down there. My sister used to live in Lafayette and I always took a trip into the swamps when visiting her. Many will pass close to the Tabasco place. They give really nice tours and have an animal refuge there. It is a must see place. Many traveled there from Rayne back in 07, Avery Island. I got pictures of Jerry Wheeler trying to get away from a 6 foot gator. I guess that started my picture taking for these events. In the other direction is New Orleans. I doubt Teri will want to run over there so we may just go back to the Tabasco place on the west side. There are lots of great tech sessions. When I first started attending these the tech sessions were important to me. Now, just getting to see our friends once again and catching up on what is happening in their lives is what is important to Teri and me.
I will be working with Jim Kanomata again. Stop by. For 2 bux I will let you look at our new engine, under glass. I need cash. Very Happy Jim and I will have some of these new led lights there for you to take a look at. I am already taking calls from folks who have been looking over prudentrver.com For those, I will make sure I have your lights with your names on them.
You are not driving our coach but we might let you look at the new Hubler and the Reaction Arm, for a fee of course. Laughing
So, come and see why so many folks engoy these gatherings. Please do not mention to Teri that I posted this. She calls me a mootch already. Rolling Eyes
Dan, hoping to see all of our friends there. And, make a few new ones. Oh, for 3 bux, I can make you famous with a picture on our blog. Cool

Hi, Dan.

Going into business to try to pay for all
those engines you've been toasting?

HAR!

Does your LED guy make replacements for the
fluorescent tubes and DC-to-AC oscillators
in the Thin-Lite lamps that are about 24"
long and about 2.5" wide? I couldn't find
anything on the site.

That's what I'm talking about, Dan.

To get fluorescents to work from 12V DC
you have to have an oscillator circuit
to change the 12V DC to 12V AC and then
transform it up to 120V AC.

The oscillator/converters burn out. I'm
looking for LED replacements of adequate
brightness to fit into the old housings.

Larry, you did not get an led that did not work. You have a socket that has a problem. I have your replacement. Besides, you bought that second hand from Doug. I test my stuff Very Happy . Just shipped a boatload of them to Canada. Every one was right on, I test before I ship.
This was not intended to be an led thread. If you want to see some go to today's blog or look around on Prudent. If you have questions, email me.
I am trying to get folks to come to Patterson so I can see you.
Dan

Dan, now that you and Teri have become big celebrities, you have to put some of them LEDs on the hatch to light up the engine, look real PURRRTY looking through that glass top all lit up and shiney.

Hey put some in the wheel well over the air bags, all you need to do now is let some air out, you have a Low Rider GMC MH, Laughing Laughing Laughing

Travel on and enjoy....

LOL, I have a set of leds for under the glass hatch. I just need to figure out where I want to put the on/off switch. The red glow from the headers is not what Teri likes seeing down there at 10 pm. I need to distract from that glow and I think placing the light down there in the right location will do that.
Since the Fall gathering in 2011 is in Goshen we expect to see you there.

Dan,

I think you need to convince Teri that the red glow of the headers is a GOOD
thing. Two recent experiences with the engine demonstrate that when they're
NOT glowing is a BAD thing!
