A longtime friend from my days with ABC TV in New York has recently begun a
new adventure and joined Linkedin as a means of getting the word out and
finding business. He asked me to post a good word for him on his site, to
do so I had to join. Then through the magic of the internet all my contacts
wound up in "hey, Glenn wants you to join" file. Wasn't my intention but
here we are. Always glad to hear from/about you and the ever lovely grandma
you hang with. Enjoy your blog and glad to see you are back on the road
again.

I joined Linkin years ago and all I got was requests from people I never even met to supply them with a reference.
