Chris,
There are two types of gutters:
1) early - no drip lip
2) late - drip lip
In theory a 1977 Kingsley should have the late type.
The end caps ARE different according to the parts book!
You need to clarify which one you have.
The right front and the left rear are the same and the left front and the
right rear are the same.

Subject: [GMCnet] Badly Need a Gutter Cap
Folks, (Michael B?) does anyone have one of these Gutter end caps they can
spare? I need the driver side rear (not sure if they are universal or not)
I'm taking my coach into paint soon, and want this part on the coach before
I do that.
I'll pay for it...

Chrs,
I'm not sure if this will help but, a couple of months ago, I was at my local RV supply store (Sandy's West) and they mentioned that their mechanic had gone to do an insurance appraisal on a burned GMC coach. I called them today and asked if they knew where that coach ended up. The only information I got was that it had been at a State Farm facility near I-10 and Irvington Road, in Tucson. That is an area that has several salvage yards. From their description of the fire, it was mostly contained to the front, driver's side interior but, they said they suspected it had been totaled.
I'm not sure where you would start to look for it, but it might have the part you are looking for among others.

Chris
I may have suitable end caps in my parts storage -- but I think the pieces are drilled different -- left and right? Which do you need?
If you cannot source locally or from a vendor let me know and I will go through mine.
Did you find a cover for your fresh water fill? Would a gas flap work?

Regarding the two types of gutter caps...
Here is a photo of the two sets I have -- they may or may not have been altered or have a broken tab.
http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/showphoto.php?photo=37907&title=0099&cat=4620
I believe the upper are the second version -- note the cast or forged ridge on the back side.
However, when I compare the second design to my early 73 coach it appears to match what I have -- and I think mine are original.
Does anyone know -- and when was the change made?

Will add to my post -- found this photo since then -- Kelvin shows the end cap on his 73 coach -- same as mine and my coach was number 267 --

So when did the second style start?
