No, Wally is in Omaha. Let me think. The St Louis folks are not active. Paul and Luther. Those two guys are your best bet for a bearing tool location. I doubt Paul has one since he has the one ton frontend but one of those two guys will know where a tool is. Gateway will be of no help. They are strictly mail order folks.I had one but no more since we did the one ton frontend. I am in Dexter Mo. when not stuck in Tucson. Mad

Looking at the photos of the bearing install, I have a question.
Is there a front and back side to the bearings?
Does it matter which way they are facing?
Thank you.

Yes and no.
If the set is together properly either end can be put on the hub or in the knuckle. That is where the no comes in. The yes comes in as to how they are placed as a set. They do need to be placed a certain way to be assembled as a set. They will be this way when removed from the package and unless the previous person working on them put them in wrong they will be the correct way when removed from the hub.If you mix the bearings and race you might be in trouble. Every thing should be kept in the same order as it was. do not mix bearings and races. When the set is assembled correctly the larger diameter of the races will face out on both ends of the set with the spacer in between. The roller portion of the bearing will then go in both ends last.

Mark,

I would highly recommend that you don't bother to do yourself and just send to Dave Lenzi. Sure it will cost you more then if you did yourself but they will done correctly and plus he adds a grease fitting so you will not have to remove the bearings for 100K! See link to his website for his contact information.
