My dip stick tube(the small lower piece) was rusted and damged
during the rebuild of my 403. I need the exact length of the tube from
the union to the block. thank for the help.

You don't.
To explain:
The email system is a "text only" system. It keeps the messages smaller to work better on limited connections. This also reduces the possibility of issues from infected binaries. (Like computer virus.)
To "send" a picture:
1. Post it on a public photo site. For GMC related photos, <http://www.gmcmhphotos.com> works best. It was created due to loss of pictures on other sites.
2. Provide a link to the photo in your email message. Shorter links work better due to the way some mail readers display long lines. Note that, on the GMC photo site, you only need the link up to (and including) the photo number. Like so:
<http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/showphoto.php?photo=33113>
3. While the net based forum DOES support embedded photos, it isn't a good idea to use this feature... the email list users (most of the readers) will not even see the link.
