Chuck, I hope you see this. I can't find your email address in my list. Teri and I want to thank you for the work you did coming up with this reaction arm. We now have brakes that work better than a motorhome owner could imagine. I have already had someone stop right in front of me and I had no worries. I am tickled to death knowing I don't have to plan my stops a block in advance. Teri is also thankful because she never knew if our brakes worked or not. I would not tell her when they weren't. My worry was enough for the both of us. Did not need her worrying also. Some day maybe they can be mass produced so everyone can have the opportunity to have what we have now. I really could not afford the reaction arm but as much as we use this thing, I just bit the bullet. Glad I did. Teri is not too excited about folks slamming on the brakes of our coach at rallies but I will show you what it looks like and tell you all I know about it at the conventions.

Dan,

It's cheap insurance. The thing is, it's the kind that pays dividends from
the beginning. You won't have to wait until an accident to collect.

Glad you impressed. Glad you also verified what Steve had been saying all
along.

Now, all that's left too do is convince the doubting Thomases. I knew it
would work from the minute I read the his info from an engineering/physics
standpoint. Of course, it didn't hurt that the week prior I encountered the
rear end of someone car in the GMC and felt the inertia rising as though I
had been prematurely caught up in the air then dropped back to earth. It
wasn't a good feeling.

Nick, that is why Teri says we are not letting folks drive this thing at conventions. She will come back and everything will be in the floor. She knows about our new brakes.
Thanks Steve. I just could not find Chuck's email address. I had it but it has slipped away I guess.
Yes, Byron, cheap insurance. Last year I nearly had serious accident, twice, over the brakes, and I had good ones then. That will not happen again. I can drive through El Paso anytime I want now and ride those bumpers. Very Happy
I just did not want to wait around to see if they came up with a reaction arm for the drum brakes. I hate drum brakes anyway so I spent a lot of money to get this thing the way I wanted it.

Gary Kosier, who lives in Indiana, has it on his coach. He's doing a
presentation on it at the Eastern States rally.

Check the website for the schedule.
http://www.gmceast.com/rally/spring/spring11sched.html

Joins us if you can. You'll learn lots. Ken Henderson will do a presentation
on steering. Kara Kosier will have a driving session for women. We'll also
have a Tips, Tricks and Tools time that will feature a few guys showing off
some improvements/modifications. At least, that's the plan.

The rally is in Dillard, Georgia. March 17 - 20. Come any time that you can.
Pricing will be adjusted for how much you eat, sleep and brag if you can't
make it the whole time. (BTW, bragging costs more).

C-mon, Byron, I'm in Ohio, where we USED to have the only
undefeated
college basketball team in the country. And we USED to have the
only
professional basketball team that couldn't beat anybody! LOL
And if a beat-up, worn-out old fart like me could install the
reaction-arm
alone, without any prior instruction(1st kit), any reasonably
adept person
should have no trouble. FOFLMAO
Seriously, the brakes are terrific, as Dan and I will both
attest.

Gary,

Sorry. I always get confused when looking on the other side of the river.
Also sorry to hear of the tough defeat of Ohio State. My sympathy to you and
Bill Brown who winters out of the state. From what I hear, it was a good
year to do so as long as you were south of Miami.

G'day,

George Zhookoff was the lucky winner of one of the systems drawn at the GMC
Western States rally last fall.

As I understand it; it is going to be installed at the Dixielanders Rally at
Bean Station, Tennessee May 6-8, 2011.

I'm planning on being there!

George, can you confirm this?

I believe you are correct Rob. I hope I can be there but might be in my car. Teri will be gone to Alaska. I told Jim's two mechanics that he was going to be there to assist in installing the system. They both fell out laughing. Should be interesting. I really did not see anything hard as long as the proper tools are available. Alonzo said the 4 holes into the frame was the hardest part of the entire install.
