In relation to the entry door on the Edgemont, where exactly are the gas
tanks? Cannot find any picture that shows any
relationship to the wheels.

The link Mr. Boyd provided shows the tanks fairly well. The picture is of a 23 foot, but the tanks are in the same place in relation to the rear wheels. On a 26 foot, there is about 2 foot more space between the front of the front tank and the stock muffler location.

Basically your front tank is under your feet when you stand just inside the door of a 26 foot coach.
