G'day,

I won a pair of 1976 GMC swivel seat bases on eBay that are located in Port
Huron, Michigan.

Is there anybody nearby that would be willing to pick them up and bring them
to any of the events below:

FMCA Rally in Perry, Georgia
GMCMI Rally in Patterson, Louisiana
GMCES Rally in Dillard, Georgia
GMC Dixielanders Rally in Bean Station, Tennessee

Regards,
Rob M.

Rob,

If you can get them down near me in Ohio (near Dayton) I can get them down to GMCES rally in Dillard.

Just let me know.

Bob,

Thanks!

The shipping cost is $90 to Houston via UPS ground and I suspect it will be
the same to Dayton.

I wonder if Margaret Guske is still in Port Huron or perhaps down South
by now.

JR would know if she still brings her curtains, sunshades, etc to
rallies.

Rob,
Paula and I have been talking about going to Ken H's and onto Perry in March. We would be crossing into the USA at Port Huron so we could pick them up for you.

.....But we are still working stiffs. I have a major project to get finished and Murphy's Law keeps getting in the way so things are not looking promising. I likely won't know until the begining of March if we can escape.

This means that you might be able to make it for a day or two to GMCES
rally.

Hoping.

Byron,
If we can make it away, then yes, we would do GMCES as well.

Originally I was hoping to arrange to install the Hubler front end somewhere while I was down there too. Just have Jim K ship it there, but with time running out to arrange it, thats looking dim too.

I've also got fiscal year-end at the end of Feb. and I'm should goto 2 trade conventions in the week of March 6. Everything happens at once!

You're on the Pre-FMCA 2011 distribution list now. That settles it.

Rob,

I sure hope you're not talking about the transmode-type with the slanted
top. 'Cause there's a pair in the way out in the sealand container; been
there 4-5 years & appear to have set up unwanted housekeeping.

Ken,

Nope! They're the flat ones with the storage compartment in them and the
offset swivel!

Perfect for installing Honda seats!

I can pick them up in Port Huron and somehow get to John Shotwell down by Toledo. Send me the phone number and address and I will make arrangements.

Hope this helps.
