my house propane tank is empty.......my coach is in my shop and not able to go anywhere....I want to test my furnace and stove......Should I run the appliances off a barbecue tank or should I use the barby tank to put propane into the house tank?....thanks...brian 77 ele

Do you have a "cheater hose" to transfer from the BBQ tank to the coach tank?

I carry a BBQ tank around with me just in case. It hooks right up, and
everything works fine (especially the heater). I've had to use it once
already this trip...

I just remove the regulator from the big tank and install it into the
small tank. Turn the gas valve off first. Can take a picture if
needed...

G'day,

I ran out of LPG while I was in the USA and didn't want to get it refilled
because I want to take the LPG tank out, paint it and clean up and insulate
the galvanized box it sits in.

I borrowed a BBQ tank from John Sharpe after I discovered that the fitting
on the end of the regulator in Double Trouble is the same as the ones that
screw into BBQ tanks.

With the BBQ tank sitting outside the forward end of the LPG compartment the
hose was long enough to reach the bottle.
