It's me again. Remember I made the mistake of showing the "Boss" Kens new dash redo. Finally got started. She's had me busy on redoing one of the bedrooms into a "sewing palace" so to speak,,,,,,lights, cabinetes, sewing table, cutting table, etc. How does this keep hapening. I think she thinks I'm retired and have all the time in the world. Oh well,,,,,. Remove both seats. Removed the temperary gage panel. Removed thelower panel under the steering colum. Had broken the passenger side panel when I reached in thru the window and shook the GMC from side to side to settle the front end during alignment. Don't ever do that. Old plastik is very brittle. Right side panel came out in about 15 pieces. Thinking of putting in a new fuse block. Arch put in a new one that was 12 or 14 circuts. he statsed he wished he'd gotten more. I was thinking 20. Any one put in a 16 or more new blade type fuse block and maxed out and needed more???? What curcuits did you fuse??? A List maybe??? A "double" type block would be best. Meaning one side is on all the time and the other side is powerd by Ign/acc. Kwik Wire has some nice ones as does bussman but the bussman needs clearance on both sides for a screw driver. Meaning the screw driver needs to be parrellel to the mounting serface. Not good. Still haven't figered out the Lazy boy pop up leg cusion yet,,,,,,,PL

2 fuse boxes were put in behind glove box. One switched by ACC, one hot all the time. Put in biggest you can afford or fit. You will use all those locations. Used the mini blade type ATC I believe for size reasons fitting behind dash and in rear electronics area. Also a good spot for a small inverter for dash needed AC.
