Yes! You're right. Best sealant one can find for an inner CV joint.
For the rest of you --
When I bought my 23 ft 73 coach in Atlanta, Paul met me at the motel the next day to check out the coach for it's trip home. It had been sitting for years -- last registered in 1989 -- and while the PO had begun some modifications he had passed away with many things in-progress. Well, one of the inner cv joints had been slinging grease -- and at Paul's suggestion, I cleaned the joint and wrapped it with duct tape and proceeded on my drive to Memphis.
Sure is a comfort to have someone meet you when you first pick up a coach and calmly help you look things over.
